The focus on this course was to learn and demonstrate physical exercises and ideas to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Many of the exercises performed I had previous knowledge of, so I took it upon myself to master them and score perfectly when testing for accuracy. I hope that in the future I continue to have this mentality when I come across material I have already learned, and it is my goal to strive for mastery when revisiting previous knowledge. Short term, I hope that I remember the exercises that I learned for the first time, and it is my goal to implement them into my daily exercise routines.
The artifact that I included was the first report I gave on my step counts for two weeks. We did this biweekly throughout the semester, and analyzed our steps from those two weeks.
Baseline Week 1 & 2, Emily Mothersbaugh Sept 02-08 & Sept 09-15
This course helped me to better understand healthy aspects of life that I can easily implement to ensure that I stay healthy into old age. The course was extremely informative, and helped me realize that just because I have been an athlete my whole life and am active doesn’t mean that there aren’t things I can change to enhance my abilities and make sure my whole body is healthy.
