Service is important in all aspects of life, whether that be in your career or just the general community. Serving other people generates a chain reaction, which in turn benefits everyone. I believe all should engage in volunteering/community service, and I am thankful that the Honors College provided me with individuals to serve with.

Service, to me, means helping people without needing it yourself. In other words, doing something for others without your own personal gain in mind. Service is being selfless and thinking of the greater good of the community.
