My e-Portfolio showcases a variety of writing forms which I have learned and strengthened throughout my semester in ENGL 470. The skills I acquired because of this class will prove useful in further Rhetoric and Professional writing courses at Longwood as well as my future masters and doctoral coursework. My ability to translate quality writing across different forms is beneficial in a variety of classroom contexts. Additionally, as someone who aspires to teach future writing students, understanding and being able to participate in these forms of writing will give me ethos and enable me to instruct future generations of students on how to create documents. No matter where I end up in life, the skills I learned in Professional Writing will be immensely helpful because I improved my ability to communicate based on the needs of varying contexts.
