I took this course in the fall of my Freshman year.
Many students complain about LSEM, or Longwood Seminar, as a waste of time. While there seemed to be some busy work projects, I ultimately feel grateful I had LSEM. We discussed Longwood traditions, different resources and services available on campus, and various skills like time management that are pertinent for a successful college career.
However, this class was truly helped me transition to Longwood because I was able to see the same small group of Honors students; it was nice knowing I had a home away from home.
