This was all an accident. Luckily I had my camera when I went on a walk and discovered this house. It is the white house on the corner that people walk and drive by everyday but ignore it due to the overgrown plants and broken glass windows. I am drawn towards the unknown and exploring the past. This house in Farmville has been abandoned for several decades, yet so many belongings were left inside are untouched. What has been left behind says a lot about the person who owned it. How can everything be left abandoned? I want my images to show what was here for so many years. Next the house was demolished. All of the personal belongings that were left inside became a pile of rubble that was put in a dumpster and forgotten. I became invested in knowing what would happen next.
