Brochure

The creation of the Brochure project was instrumental in the adaptation of goals four – create professional documents that uses design —standard formats, layout, use of graphics, etc – and goal six – participate productively in collaborative projects. Creating the brochure implemented the basic design principles which include the use of white space, images, and text. The use of text in the brochure required the use of the AIDA technique of an attention section (cover panel), interest section (body of text describing the product), desire section (customer testimonials) and the action section (coupon for the product with an expiration date). The brochure had to be visually appealing in order to grasp views’ attention by use of design and images within the brochure as well. This project was a group project, so I had to work closely with others which helped hone the skills of time management, collaborate work effort as well as being open to sharing and changing ideas with my group members.
