Goal 12: Biomedical Ethics

Reflection:  I took this class over the winter intercession and I enjoyed it a great deal.  Many questions raised in this class (i.e. abortion, stem cell research, organ transplant, etc.) are topics that I am very interested in.  This class focuses on logic, rather than gut feelings, and allows students to form their own valid opinions and values based on the logical argument types.  I am not used to thinking this way, so when it came to backing up our opinions with reason, this class was very challenging to me.  I thought it was refreshing to think in a new way, however, and really had fun with this class.
