FACES Dance

During my first Fall semester as a college freshman, I was nominated to run the Cormier Honors College FACES Dance.  This dance is a fundraiser for the local Farmville food pantry.  Through this position, I learned a lot about how things work on a college campus.  As this was my first leadership position, I had to learn how to delegate as well as ask for help when I needed it.  This dance was a huge success and we raised a great deal of money for the FACES food pantry.  This position was my first real look inside the workings of the Cormier Honors College and I am very grateful for the opportunity to have done my part for Honors and the Farmville community.
