Position is open only to graduate students in the Communication Sciences & Disorders program
Under the direction of the Director of Environmental Health & Safety, develop a hearing conservation program for Longwood employees that complies with OSHA regulations. Specific duties include:
- Evaluating job tasks for noise exposure and conducting noise monitoring
- Compiling data on at-risk positions
- Establishing a testing and record-keeping process
- Developing a process to approve hearing protection devices for specific job tasks
- Presentation of hearing conservation training
