Reflection
In honors 495, Existentialism, we discussed various existentialists, specifically the ones who essentially created what existentialism is. Throughout the course, we broadened our understanding of existentialism, as well as our understanding of the various philosophers. The paper above was written as a final paper, which was both meant to critique and praise existentialism as a belief system. I chose this paper as my artifact because I feel that it represents the knowledge that I accumulated about existentialism as a whole. The knowledge I gained in this class allowed me to further my understanding of my own philosophy, and also allowed me to open my mind a bit to other’s philosophies that are quite different from my own.
