Math 171 was an honors class for my sophomore year. In this class we learned mainly statistics. Personally, this class was a little challenging for me. It provided a different way to look at numbers and use a calculator. This class presented a challenge for me as this was a new type of math for me. We also wrong math papers which was very new to me. I really had to learn how to ask questions and ask for help when I didn’t understand something. Attached is one of my group math papers where we were presented a word problem and had to write out the steps and solution using text rather than only numbers in paper form.
