Math and I have had an interesting relationship ever since around middle school when suddenly random letters were being thrown in at every possible second. Functions and Graphs with Dr. Leah Schilling felt exactly the same. While I enjoyed the class well enough, I felt as though having less material would have made it easier to have a bit of run through with math things we may have forgotten in the span of not taking math for a bit and review for more than half a day before new topics. For me, this class was, to say the least, a struggle, which was very obviously represented in my grade (which I am still very proud of, despite it not being amazing). One of the things I felt as though was the best part of this class was the group project we were required to do. I worked in a group with two others, and I enjoyed that when I possibly didn’t know how to do something, one of them was usually able to take the reigns and help me understand. We received a nice grade on our project, and to this day I am still proud of myself for being apart of the team that pulled it off seamlessly.
