The press release was my first opportunity in this course to collaborate in a group to create a professional document. I learned how to designate tasks and create a cohesive document that embodied each members work. Through creating the press release I was able to analyze and produce a writing genre that is commonly used in the professional world of media. Each of us conducted research to add to the press release to make it more authentic and simulate a real professional document.
