The Press Release was another assignment we completed in groups. It directly correlated with the brochure we completed because they were based on the same topics. The topic, for just a reminder, was MemoryPro. This Press Release help implement course outcome number one which states that we “analyze and produce writing genres commonly found in the professional world”. We analyzed and produced this Press Release on a new social media site. Each of us conducted research to add to the press release to authentic this professional document.
This press release is the first one I had ever conducted. Learning what information was appropriate to use, targeting a specific audience, and to follow a specific format was all crucial in completing this successful news release. But, with this new knowledge, I am able to go out into the professional world with confidence knowing if, my future employer asks me to conduct a press release, I will be able to complete it, successfully.
