For the Quantitative or Scientific Perspective course, I took Applied Statistics with Dr. Gregg Harbaugh-Shattenkirk. I took this class spring 2021, my sophomore year.

This class was a difficult one for me. I struggled with it a lot because of the new material I was learning in the statistic coding software R Studio. I went to Dr. Gregg’s office hours quite a bit, and together we put in the effort needed for me to understand what I was doing, and eventually we got the hang of it.

I learned a lot about patience in this class because it was something very difficult for me that I had to keep doing.
