Service, helping people, and being a productive person in society are some of Longwood University’s goals for each of its students. Being in the Cormier Honors college has allowed me to do just that. I volunteered at a horse farm, and was able to help by priming and painting the stable bars in the barn. Then, I also painting sections of the barn. I love being able to help other people and seeing smiles upon their faces. It is rewarding being part of the Honors college, Longwood University, and by helping others in need. As a career, I want to go into financial business so that I can help others by showing them the financial tools to get them back on track to have a successful life. (2020)
