Community is important to Longwood University, and participating is vital to thriving in this environment. Being a part of the Honors College, I have been a part of my own community, full of people who I relate to and enjoy spending time with. We are all individuals, but each share something in common. One of my favorite ways that I have heard Longwood described as is, “Longwood is big enough that you will not know everyone, but small enough that you see someone you know everywhere you go.” I love seeing familiar faces around campus and Farmville. It leads to never-ending stories, conversations, and friendships strong enough to last a lifetime. (2020)
