Hello, my name is Jacob Compton.
I am currently a junior at Longwood University, and I am majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
To give you a little more information about myself, my hometown is Portsmouth, Virginia and I absolutely love visiting the beach as much as I can. Some of my hobbies include playing tennis, reading books, and listening to music. One of the things that I try to do, is to constantly find something to learn about and therefore, expand my boundaries.
At Longwood University, I have become a part of many clubs and organizations. Some of my favorite experiences, so far, have been a result of acting as secretary for both the National Student Speech Hearing and Language Association and the newly appointed Lion’s Club. I cannot wait to see where the future takes me, and how I can further outreach throughout the community.
