All of the following articles are published over my four years with The Rotunda. I have worked from being News Staff, Assistant News Editor, News Editor to now Editor-in-Chief. Now as Editor-in-Chief I have gained leadership skills and have learned how to lead a team. Before I was part of the team and now I consider myself the coach of the 37 person team.

Up for the Challenge Documentary 

Looking to showcase the impactful women Farmville has running small businesses, I interviewed four business owners that has shaped Farmville. I worked on this documentary over the course of 14-weeks in my course Digital Storytelling.

 

 

Leah Remini’s Attack on the Church of Scientology

In my Communication Ethics course, I dove into the ethical decisions behind Leah Remini’s docu-seris called Scientology and the Aftermath. I looked at how the show was produced, what it entailed and overall her decisions throughout the series.

Does Kim Kardashian’s Instagram Give you Life? 

In my Senior Seminar course where I conducted a semester-long research project with a partner. We looked into Instagram and how both time spent on social media and celebrity endorsements influence consumer habits while using the app.

We presented it live via the Longwood Communication Studies department’s Facebook account. Here is our final paper we worked on all semester.
