Dr. Christopher Swanson recently was named the conductor and artistic director of the Lynchburg Symphony Orchestra. The first concert of the season takes place on Sunday, Oct. 26 at 3:00pm at EC Glass HS Auditorium. For ticket information go to: www.lynchburgsymphony.org. The program will include Les preludes by Liszt, An American in Paris by Gershwin and the great Symphony no. 3 by Beethoven.
