As a junior, I had to begin searching for a junior internship to complete over the summer before my senior year. In order to be as prepared as possible, I took a Pre-Internship seminar in the fall of 2020. We reached out to agencies, interviewed with the Student Center, and focused heavily on creating a professional resume. We reconstructed our resumes numerous times with the help of other Therapeutic Recreation professors and the Writing Center in order to reduce it down to one page that fully encompassed our experiences relevant to our schooling and Therapeutic Recreation. Once we were happy with what we produced, these were graded and then sent to potential agencies in order to acquire an internship.
