To complete the scientific reasoning pillar, I took Psychology 101 and 201 my senior year of high school. Since it was in high school, I do not have an artifact but will still reflect on this course.
This class was very difficult for me but gave me a great awakening to how some college professors may be in the future. My teacher was very tough on grading and moved through the curriculum very quickly. She was never lenient on due dates and made our tests impossible if we did not study beforehand. The entire class consisted of a lecture, along with occasional class discussion. This class improved my note-taking and listening skills before I arrived at Longwood. I am very glad that I had the opportunity to take this class before I came so that I had an idea about how college will actually be.
