V7 in this Basic Linear Regression is the involvement of the Emotional Flip-book activity (I.V), while V36 is the family enjoyment in the emotional flip-book activity. Therefore, family engagement predicts the parental involvement in the Emotional Flip-book Activity.
I have hypothesized that families who have a higher engagement will have more involvement. In other words, how much a family engages in the activity would influence continued involvement in an activity.
For every one-unit increase in engagement, involvement decreases -0.3824 units. Therefore, it appears that involvement of an activity is negatively related to family engagement. This finding is not significant. The r squared statistic is 0.1325 meaning that this model explains 13.25% of the variation in the dependent variable (enjoyment).
