Goal 8: Introduction to Psychology (PSYC 101)

Introduction to Psychology is one of my major requirements for psychology, but it fulfills my goal 8 for my general education goals when looking at my sociology degree. This class was interesting because it incorporated every aspect of what we would learn throughout the psychology program.

The most interesting part of this class was learning about abnormal disorders  like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and multiple personality disorder. The professor made the class very easy to follow and gave us insight to many different aspects of psychology. One requirement of this class was to participate in a few research studies put on by upper students in the psychology program; however, if you chose not to participate in a few you could choose to write a reflection of one of the studies. This is my reflection on a study about the effects on makeup on perceived professionalism:
