About Me

I am a graduate of Longwood University where I received my Bachelor of Social Work. During my time at Longwood, I was a member of the social sorority Alpha Beta Psi. I held two positions during my time which were co-diversity and inclusion chair and New member educator. I completed 181 hours at my Junior field placement at Infant and Toddler Connection of the Heartland in Farmville, Virginia. I completed 500 hours at my senior field placement which was at Weinstein Jewish Community Center in Richmond, Virginia. While at my senior field placement I interned with the inclusion and support team in their preschool department. I also interned with their afterschool daycare program, Kid’s place.

Below is a case assessment I wrote while supporting a child in the preschool department at the Weinstein Jewish Community center.
