Reflection

What I learned in my SOCL 333 class was how to run several statistical tests along with being able to identify which test to use based on the data. We learned how to run several tests in different ways like using SPSS, rstudio or running some tests by hand. As well how to interpret the information that these systems put out. This means that whenever I have to do some statistical analysis of data for a future project I would have a good understanding of where to start and how to begin compiling data and information. This class has given me several important skills when it comes to data analysis and synthesizing information. Which is going to make me a valuable asset to any organization’s team.

The skills I have gathered from my SOCL 333 class will allow me to improve my perception of data in both my personal and professional life. In other words I will be able to look at a data and methods section and see if what is being recorded would be considered good work or not. In my professional life I would be able to identify what information is important and what isn’t.
