Correlation Coefficient 

Within our correlation, we have interval ratio variables for the pizza party activity. Our variables were measured on a scale from 1-10. Our independent variable was how much the family enjoyed the activity, and our dependent variable was how involved the family was during the activity.  According to the results, our variable has a strong negative correlation (r= .788) between the involvement and enjoyment of the activity.

First; Click Analyze, Click Correlate, Click Bivariate 

Then: Move your independent (V24) and your dependent variable (V23) into the box 

Finally: Click OK

Step Two:  cor(z$v23, z$v24)

There is a strong positive correlation between the involvement of the family and enjoyment of the activity. (R= 0.789) Between involvement and enjoyment of the activity.
