I knew I was in for something different when I was put into this Special Topics course, but I did not know what to expect. Once I learned from Jessi that we would be working with students from Sweden, I was excited. This was something new for me, as well as the rest of the class. Though we had some difficulties along the way as far as communication went, I gained a better understanding of what exactly “Global Perspectives on Social Innovation” meant and I had a great time working on our innovative project. As a group, we came up with the idea of a helping fix the generational gap by creating a game show. At the end of the course, we were required to present our ideas at the Honors College Celebration of Scholarship. It was rewarding to receive feedback from fellow students and professors.
