The Rhetorical Analysis met outcomes one-four from our course learning outcomes. In this particular assignment we had to find a rhetorical artifact that would make an argument for a certain cause. For my rhetorical artifact, I chose a speech that Hillary Clinton had given on women’s rights. When writing this paper, I realized I had never paid attention to the persuasive techniques that speakers and writers use to grab our attention. After this assignment, I started to point out things that I did in this speech in everyday readings and writings.
