This position will support the Reading, Literacy, and Learning program and faculty in a variety of ways.  The RLL GA routinely supports the program through developing and monitoring program social media posts, development of marketing materials, assist with program newsletter, and help with recruiting efforts.  In addition, the RLL GA position provides faculty support with research, grading, and course enhancements in Canvas.

Graduate Writing Center Graduate Assistant

Standard (150 hours/semester), Fall 2023 & Spring 2024

The GA will be responsible for working with graduate student writers on their writing projects. This most often involves reading the piece beforehand, then spending 30 mins with the student in a virtual meeting to collaboratively go over their project with them. After appointments, the GA will then fill out a client report form and send a survey to their client. The GA MUST enjoy talking one-on-one with peers and have a solid background in writing. Writing Center experience a plus.

Scottish Rite Graduate Academic/Research Assistant
