Settlement

Longwood University offers both on campus and off campus housing options for students. Whether it be suite-style resident halls or apartments, there are a wide variety of options to choose from. There are 9 on campus dormitories offered for students. Longwood also offers housing request based on health needs and disabilities.

Moss Hall and Johns Hall, formerly known as Frazer and Curry, are completely renovated and remodeled two high- rise residence halls. These facilities include features with brand-new mechanical systems, interior designs, and furnishings.

Curry & Frazer Moss & John

Stubbs Hall was originally built in 1966 and completely renovated in 2014. This dormitory was intended for an all-female residence hall, housing about 184 women. Stubbs is home to 10 national sororities, including four alpha chapter that were founded at Longwood.

The majority of upperclassmen choose to live off campus; however, there are Longwood affiliated housing options that are appealing to students. Areas such as the Landings or Lancer Park offer students the convenience of being in walking distance to campus. Off campus housing options consist of: Walk2Campus, Green Properties, College Corners, Sunchase Apartments, and more. These off campus housing options have their own obstacles such as parking, construction, and unsafe neighborhoods.

Commerce

Longwood University partners with a number of local businesses seen through the use of Lancer CA$H, a prepaid debit account designed for students, faculty, and staff. This service has a variety of on campus sites such as Au Bon Pain, Panda Express, Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, and more. Additionally, Lancer CA$H is accepted at a number of off campus locations including Buffalo Wild Wings, The Fishin’ Pig, Bojangles’, and more. These collaborations lead to mutually beneficial experiences for Longwood and the participating businesses.

Longwood University utilizes Aramark food services for all on campus events. They provide quality food experiences through catering and preparation for any campus run events.
