In the Cormier Honors College, we are taught to serve our community. This is evident through all of our volunteer activities. On Service Day during the Honors Retreat, my group ended up at the CleanVirginiaWaterways house. We were taught why we should keep our Earth healthy. The lady there asked if there was anyone who was Pre-law, and I was the only one. My project for the day was to create a document full of environmental laws. I had never done anything like this, and I was thankful that I was given the opportunity.
