“If God is all powerful, all knowing, and supremely good, then why is there so much evil in the world? In philosophy of religion this problem is known as ‘the problem of evil'” I had never heard of this problem before, and as a Christian, I wanted to learn more. I decided to take this class with Dr. Blincoe.
In this class, we read a lot of C.S. Lewis. We even read the first two books of his “space trilogy” for the extra credit reading group.
Through this class, I learned how to defend my belief in God if someone asks me “the problem of evil.” O
For one of our final assignments, we partnered up with a classmate to create a philosophical dialogue.
