PHIL 315: HON: Biomedical Ethics

For my Philosophy minor, I was required to take an ethics class. Thankfully I was able to take this class because it counted for my minor and my honors courses.

In the beginning of this class, we learned three main ethical theories, Kants theory, Utilitarianism, and Virtue Ethics.

The second half of this class consisted of us learning the ethics behind many modern day dilemmas, such as abortion, euthiasians, and genetic enhancements.

Our second exam in this class was an oral exam in which we were “to conduct the discussion as if [Dr. Blincoe] were either a friend or a family member that you wish to convince of your position on abortion.”

Attached is my final reflection of the class.
