Being a part of the Longwood community has allowed me to meet so many people from being a part of the field hockey team, Cormier Honors College, Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), and more. I have realized the more on-campus involvement I have has helped me become more invested in Longwood as a whole. Organizations and clubs such as the Pre-Professional Health Society and Tri-Beta Honors Society have helped me to meet more people in my major, who share common career goals as me. I believe the more involved I am across various aspects of student life on campus the more opportunities that will be presented to me. My second year at Longwood proved to me the importance of getting involved and stepping outside of my comfort zone can bring great experiences in unexpected places!
