The first step to achieving goal 10 in Longwood’s curriculum for me was taking Spanish I. Having taken Latin for three years in high school, I picked up on the vocabulary and grammar rules fairly easily. I enjoyed taking Spanish with Professor Varela, who thoroughly explained all concepts. I am looking forward to continue learning more about the Spanish language and culture in this coming fall.
