Collegiate Undergraduate Research and Inquiry Opportunities (CURIO) Program

The Office of Student Research (OSR) invites rising sophomores, juniors and seniors to apply for the Collegiate Undergraduate Research and Inquiry Opportunities (CURIO) program. CURIO student researchers engage in student-initiated research and submit a manuscript to an undergraduate, graduate or professional scholarly journal for publication.  The Spring Only Option runs during the spring semester.  Students receive a $1200 stipend and faculty mentors receive a $1500 stipend. The Spring-Through-Summer Option includes the spring semester, a 2-week virtual summer session and a 3-week summer writing retreat in residence. Students receive an $1800 stipend and faculty mentors receive a $2000 stipend.
