The Office of Student Research will award Faculty Excellence in Mentoring Awards (FEMA) to selected faculty nominated by undergraduate students for their work in mentoring inquiry-based activities. Only current Longwood University undergraduate students may submit nominations. Only tenured and tenure-track faculty, clinical educators, lecturers, visiting professors and administrative and professional faculty with academic rank may be nominated.

Students must electronically submit the Nomination Form below to the Office of Student Research (osr@longwood.edu) with the subject line “2017 FEMA,” Please direct any questions about the nomination process to Crystal S. Anderson, Director, Office of Student Research (andersoncs2@longwood.edu).
Nominations are due April 10, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. Last year’s recipients of the award are not eligible.
