Reflection:
The press release was an interesting project due to the uniqueness of the prompt. It was specifically a press release that is to relate to our brochure project. Overall the project was simple but having never written a press release before the textbook came in handy when formatting the paper. The logo that went out with the press release was pulled off of google using the parameters of for reuse and for modification. The overall format was simple but different than anything I had personally written beforehand and was beneficial to learn. One of the largest struggles was to remain concise. The requirement limiting it to a single page felt like hamstringing the overall report, almost logically with press release you wish to write in as much information as possible. However the reality is that only pertinent information is required or asked for. Any fluff needs to be cut and the overall release should be simple and sweet.
