Goal 5 – Mathematical Thought

  • Year: Spring 2017
  • Course Name: CMSC 121 – Intro Computer Science
  • Description: “An introduction to computer science for non-specialists. Basic computer architecture and design, storage formats, principles of computer operation, and algorithms. Application software that emphasizes the computer as a tool.”
  • Significance: This course was significant because it complimented my knowledge from statistics by learning about patterns and other ways of understanding computerized data operations. Likewise, I had the incredible opportunity of writing a paper about how computer science has influenced the field of psychology, particularly in the form of neuroimaging technology.
