Scholarship

While at Longwood University, I have strived to maintain stellar academics. I will graduate with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and a Bachelor of Arts in History in May 2024. Throughout my academic journey at Longwood University, I have consistently pushed myself to excel in my coursework, participate in various extracurricular activities, and actively contribute to the university community. I have been an extremely active student of the Department of Music. I have performed with nearly every ensemble at the Longwood and have so far given two recitals, including a collaborative chamber recital with my peers. One of my crowning achievements at Longwood was having my archival research published in the university’s undergraduate research journal. This accomplishment was not only a validation of my dedication to historical scholarship but also a testament to the supportive environment that Longwood University provides for its students. It was a moment of great pride for me and a reminder of the incredible opportunities that this institution has offered me. As I prepare to graduate in May 2024, I am filled with gratitude for the knowledge, experiences, and friendships I have gained during my time at Longwood. I am excited to carry these valuable lessons with me as I move forward into the next phase of my academic and personal journey, where I hope to continue pursuing my passion for music and history, all while building upon the strong foundation that Longwood has provided.
