During my first year, I joined LATA (Longwood’s Athletic Training Association). In LATA, I met a ton of new faces and became more aware with my programs upperclassman. During my time, we did a Krispy Kreme donation for the program on campus. I sold 6 boxes of donuts, (six dozen) to other students on campus. Then delivered them to the students later on. The donation/earnings went towards the program at Longwood. I thought this was a good example of community as it involved not only the club I was in and involved with, but also the campus students too.
