Carolina’s Psychology Conference:
I had the amazing opportunity to present my research at the Carolina’s Psychology Conference at Campbell University. Sadly, the conference changed to be a virtual conference due to COVID-19, the universities being shut down and students being home. The experience of putting together my research and filming a presentation for the conference was still memorable and I would even say it produced even more growth than if I was in person. I was forced to keep communicating with my professor to be able to finish my presentation and make sure I had included all information. I also had to film myself and present the material on my own. This conference experience was very stressful and challenging but I am so happy that I had this opportunity. This strengthened my ability to problem solve and complete a quality project under a lot of stress. Being able to see my peers projects was also extremely rewarding. I enjoyed seeing the success we were all able to find while being in a stressful world.
I have inserted my project presentation. I am very proud of this as well as all the time I put into it while also completing online classes. This was sent in and available for the conference on April, 18, 2020.
