I took this class in the fall of my freshman year. The class gave a bunch of information about being a college student. We learned the basics of college life, learned about finances, learned about making a schedule and scheduling classes, and learned about other things too. We also had an individual meeting with Mrs. Miller, the instructor, during which she asked how we were adjusting to college life. Being the fourth child in my family to go to college, I knew a lot about college, but this class was a good was to get comfortable with college. It also benefited us because of New Lancer Days, where we learned plenty of information, because we were grouped with our LSEM class, so we knew the people we doing things with. Overall, it was a easy class that gave us good information and helped us settle into college life.
