For goal 7, I took Honors Foundation of Western Civilization (HIST 100) with Dr. Isaac during the Fall 2015 semester. I really enjoyed this class. My roommate was in another section of this class, one that was not honors, and it was interesting to see the difference in the material and how it was presented. The class had daily required readings and, in addition to other material, we discussed the reading during class. This led to insightful conversations that carried on throughout class when we covered other material. I’m extremely glad I took this class at the honors level because I found I really thrive in an environment that has insightful discussions and isn’t just lecture.
