Pearson’s Correlation

Family enjoyment for the sugar writing tray activity was predicted by how involved the family was while completing the activity. Both variables were asked on a 0-10 scale. Findings indicate that there is a strong positive correlation (r=0.673) between the level of family involvement and the amount the families enjoyed the activity. In other words, when families were more involved with the sugar writing tray activity, they also enjoyed the activity more. The researcher does not know if this would be true in a larger population.
