Service is integral to Cormier Honors College’s efforts to create citizen leaders.  During the Honors Retreat I went to a farm outside of Farmville to assist in improving the facilites.  This particular farm provides the opportunity to ride horses as therapy for children with cognitive disabilities.  Some of the boys and I went about spreading mulch and pulling rocks from the pastures.  It was a unique experience which I hope to repeat by participating in future retreats.  I hope to continue to seek out service opportunities through the Honors College.
