Brochure

Before this class, I knew the general idea of a brochure and the importance of putting specific and useful content on the brochure, but I did not know the specific areas for different types of content. I learned that the front panel is to grab the viewers attention. It should include the title of the item or whatever one is discussing. The second and third panels focus on the interest, which means it gives facts and details about the item one is selling or the facts about the information given. These two panels need to be specific and give the viewer a good idea of the purpose of the brochure. The fourth and fifth panel are designated to desire, this section will give quotes from individuals who use the product or experience. This gives the viewer more insight and information. The final panel is used for more information and any action that needs to be taken by the viewer. I learned that using the proper format for this document is crucial for the success of the brochure. This ties to course learning outcome four which talks about creating professional documents that use design. It is important for the information to be correct but it is also important for the document to be visually appealing to the eye. The graphics and format is just as important as the information used in this document.
