This lesson plan was used to demostrate how to teach different types of poetry to students with the use of the “to, with, by” method.

This lesson plan demonstrates my ability to create a lesson plan based off of the poetry lesson plan in case a substitute teacher is needed. This lesson plan is in the form of a powerpoint, so that is is not only directions for the substitute teacher but for the students as well.

This lesson plan deals with Mathematics, but uses aspects of English curriculum standards within the plans. I used stories to model each number as a way to combine both aspects of English and Mathematics for the students.
