In the aftermath of joining the Honors family, I had the great opportunity to be enrolled in the honors section of Macroeconomics taught by the equally awesome professor Dr. PlaHovinsak. The reasons why I am so enthused when talking about this class can be summarized into three points. First, there was a very good level of interaction between students and the professor. The general ambiance of the class was positive with a higher participation rate than most classes. Additionally, The lecture followed the same objective of analyzing economic theories, their pros, and their cons with no apparent agenda. As part of being in an honor course, we were required to confection a podcast mini-series, on top of the already challenging material. My series consisted in the analysis/comparison of economic terms followed by an opinionated segment unfolding my viewpoints on the subject. I intend to continue this series with other courses in the near future. Overall, my first experience being in an honor class has been very helpful for me. I got to challenge myself by doing extra work but also, and most importantly, I witnessed the excellence of my classmates whose performances motivated me as well.
